Bush Dairy Road business burglaries | Free News

The Jones County Sheriff’s Department is investigating two business thefts that occurred early Monday on Bush Dairy Road that appear to be related.

Security surveillance showed a suspect in a blue GMC 2500 pickup stealing a 2020 flat bed utility trailer from Rent All of Laurel at approximately 1:53 a.m., then using the stolen utility trailer and another unidentifiable pickup pulling an enclosed utility trailer to steal three John Deere tractors from AGUP Equipment just across the street.

A John Deere 4044M open-cab tractor with a front-end loader and two John Deere 3038E open-cab tractors with front-end loaders were stolen from AGUP Equipment.

JCSD Investigator Patrick Oster is investigating the burglaries. Anyone with information about them is asked to call JCSD at 601-425-3147 or Jones County Crime Stoppers at 601-428-STOP (7867). Crime Stoppers “just needs your information, not your name,” and cash rewards are available.
